APA - European Ministers of Culture to sign Baku Declaration

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva–APA. The meeting of European Ministers of Culture will take place in Baku on December 2-3, APA reports quoting website of the Council of Europe.
The meeting will be organized basing on Faro Declaration on the Council of Europe’s Strategy for Developing Intercultural Dialogue signed in November, 2005. Baku Conference will be first step for implementation of documents and commitments. Ministers of Culture from 49 counties signed European Convention on Culture, as well as Culture Ministers of ALESCO and ISESCO member countries will attend the conference.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Terry Davis , Council of Europe Secretary General, Mongi Bousnina, Head of ALESCO (Arab League Education, Science, and Culture Organization), ISESCO Director Abdulaziz Othman will address the conference. The roundtable on Principles for Intercultural Dialogue will be held. Baku Declaration will be approved at the end of the conference on December 3.
