APA - Khalaf Khalafov meets with Iranian Foreign Minister

Baku. Ramil Mammadli–APA. Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan and Special Envoy of the President for Caspian Issues Khalaf Khalfov met with Foreign Minister of Iran Manuchohr Mottaki in Tehran. Development of bilateral relations, activity of intergovernmental commission and of Caspian legal status were discussed at the meeting, APA reports quoting the Iranian newspapers. Mottaki emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation and especially underlined the Azerbaijan’s role in increasing of significance of the North-Southern corridor.

Necessity of extension of relations in 2009 was emphasized at the meeting.
