APA - Azerbaijan’s ruling party releases a statement on the vote end

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. “In terms of voters’ expression of their wills, the presidential election went off in a transparent and fair way in the highly-organized conditions and in full compliance with the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan,” said the ruling party – New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) – in a statement.
The statement reads that YAP observers observed the vote in over 5 000 poling stations.
“There was high voter turnout and observers saw no violation which could influence the election results. The vote was in line with the electoral legislation and in a democratic, transparent and open state. We treasure this election as a triumph of democracy” said the statement.
