Turkey intends to participate in modernization of Azerbaijan Air Force Central Command Post

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov –APA. Turkey intends to participate in modernization of Azerbaijan Air Force Central Command Post according to the NATO standards.

Officials of the relative bodies of both countries will negotiate this issue in Baku on September 22-26, press service of the Defense Ministry told APA. The final decision for the Turkey’s joining the project will be made by the high-ranking officials after the expert discussions.
Turkey is also participating in modernization of the tank maintenance facility of Azerbaijan Defense Ministry. Turkey will support modernization of Azerbaijan’s T-72 tanks and renewal of the tanks’ fire-control and other systems. Earlier the United States supported the modernization of the Azerbaijan Air Force Command Center.
