BP-Azerbaijan refutes reports that Russian planes bombed BTC

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-ECONOMICS. BP-Azerbaijan has refuted the reports that Russia bombed Georgisn sector of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and three blasts occurred as a result of it. BP Communications Manager Tamam Bayatly told APA-ECONOMICS that BTC had not been bombed that day.
“These reports are groundless. No explosion occurred in Georgian sector of BTC,” she said.
Secretary of Georgian Security Council Alexander Lomaia and Minister of Reintegration Temur Yakobashvili said Russian planes had bombed Georgian sector of BTC. Yakobashvili also added that the bombs had not hit the target, fell around the pipeline.
Rustavi-2 TV Channel reported that three blasts occurred on the pipeline as the BTC was bombed.
