Moscow – APA. Russia will not hold negotiations with Mikhail Saakashvili, said Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the press conference with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, APA reports quoting Regnum. He said Saakashvili had committed crime against Russian citizens and always considered that he was right.
“Saakashvili, who burned girls in the stable, says he protects American values. We consider that he can not be our partner. We have deep respect for Georgian people and expect the people to demonstrate wisdom,” he said.
Sergey Lavrov said they did not want Georgian peacekeepers to remain in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone.
“They committed crime by shooting at their friends serving along with them in the peacekeeping contingent,” he said.
Russian minister noted that all the regions of Georgia from where South Ossetia had been fired at, should be disarmed. He also added that they were going to appeal to the International Criminal Court and ask to analyse the developments in South Ossetia.
“It is important to know who gives criminal orders in Georgia,” he said.
