APA - Safar Abiyev receives Pakistani newly-appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov–APA. Colonel General Safar Abiyev, Azerbaijani Defense Minister has received Abdul Hamid, Pakistani newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan today, Defense Ministry’s Press Service told APA.
Abiyev congratulated the guest on appointment and spoke about relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in all fields. The Minister brought difficult situation in the region, issues delayed peaceful solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict to the notice of the guest. Abiyev added that if the conflict was not solved peacefully, we would choose other ways for the liberation of Azerbaijani lands.
“We will not allow Armenia to continue its aggressive policy”, he said.
The Ambassador noted that Pakistan was one of the countries, which firstly recognized independence of Azerbaijan and stressed that Nagorno Karabakh was an integral part of Azerbaijan.
