Martin Bartenstein: “Turkmen and Kazakh gas may reach Europe via the Nabucco in the medium run”

Austrian Federal Minister of Economics and Labour Martin Bartenstein and Azerbaijan Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev will sign a memorandum of understanding on Azerbaijan’s presence in the Nabucco project.
Martin Bartenstein said in Baku that the document will be a foundation for Azerbaijan’s joining the project.
Austrian minister added that through the Nabucco project Turkmen and Kazakh gas may be re-exported to Europe via the Caspian Sea in the medium run.
OMV Gas International, the operator of the Nabucco Project, has today held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its office in Baku. /APA-ECONOMICS/
