Azeri chess player Vugar Hashimov tops Spanish tournament

Azerbaijani chess player Vugar Hashimov performs successfully in the international tournament held in Spanish city of Santiago de Kopostella, APA-SPORT reports.
Azeri team member has scored maximum points after three rounds. 21-year-old beat Moran Llera Jose Angel (Spain), Joachim Wintzer (Germany) and Caselas Kabanas Jacobon (Spain) respectively. Azeri player is to face Reynaldo Kastineiro (Spain) in 4th round. The 9-round competition will last till June 24. Hashimov is the highest ranked attendee of the tournament the total prize of which is €10,000. /APA-SPORT/
