APA - Some opposition parties decide to hold unauthorized action

Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Musavat Party, Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (AXCP) and Union for Democracy decided to hold an unauthorized action before the Baku City Hall on July 31. Head of the Musavat’s central executive office Arif Hajili told APA that opposition parties proposed several places for an action, but the city authorities didn’t approve their choices. “We discussed the issue with AXCP and the Union for Democracy and decided to hold an unauthorized meeting”.

The protesters will demand to change Electoral Code before the parliamentary elections, to reform the election commissions, to secure freedom of assembly and others.
