Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to visit Moscow

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will visit Moscow next week. Spokesman for Foreign Ministry Elkhan Polukhov told APA that Minister will attend the meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers’ Council.

Elkhan Polukhov said Elmar Mammadyarov did not plan to meet with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.
“The mediators have not made such a proposal yet,” he said.

CIS Foreign Ministers Council will discuss about 20 issues. The ministers will discuss a number of documents on the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The participants of the meeting will also exchange views on Kazakhstan’s chairmanship of OSCE, draft European Security Contract, consultations among foreign ministries within CIS, implementation of CIS development conception, cooperation in combating corruption, participation of CIS observers in this year’s elections in CIS member states.
