APA - Azerbaijan to launch national social networking site on Solidarity Day

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-ECONOMICS. The first national social networking site will be fully available on December 31 this year, said Mikail Mammadov Marketing Director of YUMROO, the emerging national search engine.

The site, called Yallı, has already attracted thousands of users during test within the past two months, he added.

According to him, by far the most popular social networking sites used in Azerbaijan are Facebook, Odnoklassniki etc.

Unlike them, Yallı is a social network for the Azeri language users and users questions answered by public relations departments of local companies and allowing uploading about 100 photos and video.

This network has another advantage - the opportunity to earn e-money. To do this, users should upload interesting photos and video.

Through money earned, users can buy top-up cards from mobile operators or make payment on eBay.

In addition, Yallı user can make an electronic gift to another user.
