APA - Azerbaijan National Internet Forum to kick off tomorrow

Baku - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan’s national search engine Yumroo (www.yumroo.az) is kicking off the First Azerbaijan National Internet Forum on December 3 with support from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Ministry of Youth and Sports, AzeriCard and HP and Ireli Public Association. The venue is the Landmark Business Center (Nizami Street, 90A, Ratunda Hall).

The two-day forum will start with opening speeches by Yumroo CEO Anar Yolchiyev and Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov.

The first day of the forum will focus on 3 themes - "Main Players in the Telecommunication Market of Azerbaijan", "Review of Internet Services in Azerbaijan “and "Internet Information and Media in Azerbaijan”.

As to keynote speakers, HP Officer for Azerbaijan Igor Yevchuk will deliver a speech on "Solutions for the creation of virtual environment for clients towards development of the Internet", Nokia’s officer for CIS countries Ruslan Veysov will speak on "Ovi and Nokia Notebooks”, Oracle’s representative Elchin Guliyev will report on "Internet with Oracle - more features, reliability and security”, Microsoft-Azerbaijan’s program manager Emin Akhundov will speak on “Microsoft and ICT in Azeri Education”.

On the second topic, Delta Telecom’s Technical Director Rahid Alakbarli will deliver a report on " Azerinet-2009 Review ", NETTY steering committee chairman Ruslan Novruzov on “NETTY - a presentation platform for the startup”, AzeriCard Business Development Officer Jahangir mammadov on “E-Commerce and Electronic Payment Channels", SilverKey CEO Farid Ismailzade on "E-Commerce: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”, Azerfon’s corporate products manager Hasan Asgerov "Mobile Broadband and 3G Network”.

On the third topic, APA news agency’s director general Vusala Mahirgizi will speak on "Azeri language sites", 1News chief editor Rahman Hajiyev on "Russian-and English-language sites and their development," TrendCapital Director Vagif Sharifov on "Internet advertising in Azerbaijan and the prospects for its development", Yumroo marketing director Mikail Mammadov on "Social Networks and Features of National Internet".

The second day of the forum will be opened Yumroo CEO Anar Yolchiyev and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev.

After a speck by Irəli Public Association Chairman Ceyhun Osmanli, Microsoft-Azerbaijan Program Manager Emin Akhundov will deliver a report on “Microsoft and ICT in the Azeri Education” and Yumroo marketing director Mikail Mammadov on " Social Networks and Social Networks and Features of National Internet".

Then, "Best Internet Project" award winner will be presented.
