APA - Vilnius hosts 28th session of Baltic Assembly and 15th meeting of Baltic Council

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Vilnius is hosting the 28th session of the Baltic Assembly and 15th meeting of Baltic Council. The parliament’s press service told APA that Azerbaijani parliamentarians Elton Mammadov and Ali Masimli are attending the events. State and government representatives of the Baltic, GUAM and Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg) states are attending the meetings. They are exchanging views on the Baltic sea strategy and energy security, stability in the region in prospect, Baltic cooperation and other themes.

International conference “Baltic cooperation and crisis: seeking for security, sustainability and progress” will also be held within the framework of the session. Azerbaijani MP Ali Masimli will make a report “About optimal development and cooperation model of the Caspian, Black and Baltic sea states after the crisis”. Tomorrow the final document will be signed and the session will end.
