Wilton Park Conference on South Caucasus has finished its work in London

Baku – APA. From November 23-26, some 60 scholars and politicians have gathered in Wilton Park conference in London to discuss the conflicts and EU integration in South Caucasus, APA reports.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov, First Deputy State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia Tamar Beruchashvili, Special EU Representative on South Caucasus Peter Semneby, Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Timuri Yakobashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Karine Kazinian and others have participated in the conference.
Issues discussed were EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood and South Caucasus, Prospects for Euro-Atlantic Security Integration, the Conflict Settlement in the region, Energy and Pipelines, Business Environment and Democratization.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan in UK Fakhraddin Gurbanov, Director of Advanced Foreign Service Program at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Fariz Ismailzade, prominent scholars Svante Cornell, Brenda Shaffer, Oksana Antoneno, Sabine Freizer, John Roberts, and others were also among the participants.
