APA is celebrating 5 years in operation

Baku – APA. 5 years have passed since Azeri Press Agency (APA) began its activity.
The agency issued its first newsletters in Azerbaijani, Russia and English and then in French and Arabic. Now it has online news service in five languages.
APA was first to make many things. It spread first video information in the South Caucasus and established first sport news agency – APA-SPORT. The agency has APA-ECONOMICS and APA-Photo units as well. Credit card system was implemented on APA’s website. The agency has capacity of 400-500 reports a day.
It provided general, economic news in five languages, photo and video issues in week and two analytical economic and political letters in month. APA follows principles of operational efficiency, accuracy and non-party. Everyone accepts this fact that APA is a leader in the news space of the country.
The agency has its bureaus throughout the country, in leading and neighbor countries, except Armenia. APA is working with leading media organizations, TV channels, agencies and newspapers of Turkey, Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Central Asian and Baltic countries, Moldova, Europe and the United States.
Diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, representations of the international organizations, government agencies, ministries, financial institutions, offices of the international financial organizations in the country, foreign companies, local and foreign business structures are among the clients of the agency. More than 150 media organizations issued in Azerbaijan and abroad are APA’s subscribers.
APA was registered at the Ministry of Justice on January 8, 2004 and began its activity on November 16 that year.
