Baku – APA. “Washington’s accusations that Iran is striving for preparing nuclear weapons are groundless,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said, APA reports.
“The accusations of the senior officials against Iran have already bored the Americans. We answered all the questions within the framework of the cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) two years ago. Two years ago the agency wanted to end the investigation and state that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful, but did not do it due to the pressures of Bush administration. In 2007 it was stated that Iran is going to produce atomic energy legally for peaceful purposes and we are always ready for the dialogue,” he said.
