Heydar Aliyev Foundation presents 10 hemodialyzers to Health Ministry

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented 10 hemodialyzers to the Health Ministry. The foundation told APA that the medical device is the next humanitarian aid of Fresenius Medical Care of Germany. The international cooperation was established in 2006, the company’s humanitarian actions have already become a tradition. 10 hemodialyzers worth € 200,000, which were presented by the company in 2006 and delivered to the medical facilities of the country by the foundation, were necessary for the treatment of the people suffering from kidney failure. The medical device made it available to remove the problem in the field of hemodialysis.

In 2007 Fresenius Medical Care presented 2 autologous blood transfusion devices and 4 devices proportioning medicines, in 2008 the company presented 10 hemodialyzers. This medical device is used in the proper clinics of the country. Endoscopic device worth € 160,000 presented to the Foundation by Storz company of Germany is used in urology.

Due to the cooperation with Novo Nordisk company of Denmark since 2004, diabetics under 14 were supplied with insulin and prefilled disposable syringe. The humanitarian action carried out by famous Servier company of France in 2007 provided one-year treatment of 100 diabetics.
