APA - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev confers “Glory” order on Sheikh-ul-islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh

Moscow – APA. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev congratulated chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh on his 60th jubilee and 30th anniversary of his activity as sheikh-ul-islam, APA reports quoting the website of the Russian President.

The head of state wished him long life and good health. Dmitry Medvedev mentioned the order signed by him on conferring “Glory” order on Sheikh-ul-islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh and said the order is the high assessment for Allahshukur Pashazadeh’s role in the interreligious dialogue and Russia-Azerbaijan relations.

Sheikh-ul-islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh expressed his gratitude to Russian president and said he will continue doing his best to strengthen mutual confidence, friendship between the two countries.
