Guests arriving Baku for Allahshukur Pashazadeh’s jubilee visited Heydar Aliyev’s tomb

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. The guests, who arrived in Baku to attend the celebrations of 60 years jubilee of the chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office Allahshukur Pashazadeh and 30 years anniversary of his Sheikh-al-Islam office, visited Heydar Aliyev’s tomb at the Alley of Honor on Thursday. Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, chairman of the State Committee for Religious Associations Hidayat Orujov, Belarusian Patriarch Filaret and others laid flowers before the toms of Heydar Aliyev and Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Pashazadeh told journalists that an international conference on cross-religion dialogue will be held in Gulustan Palace in Baku on Friday within the jubilee events. The international conference will continue its work on November 7 in Teze Pir Mosque.

The Sheikh-al-Islam said religious figures from many countries would attend the events.

Belarusian Patriarch Filaret expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of events held on the occasion of Pashazadeh’s jubilee.
