President of Switzerland sends letter to head of Cultural Center of Azerbaijanis in Switzerland

Baku – APA. President of Switzerland Hans-Rudolf Merz sent an official letter to Gasim Nasirov, head of Cultural Center of Azerbaijanis in Switzerland, Azerbaijani State Committee for Diasporas told APA. The head of state says that this center extends, deepens the cultural relations between Switzerland and Azerbaijan, acquaints the Swiss with Azerbaijani culture, and expresses his gratitude for this. Hans-Rudolf Merz says he is interested in the music performed in the opening of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Switzerland and adds that everyone who hears this music wants to learn Azerbaijani culture.

The official opening ceremony of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture was held in Bern, the capital of Switzerland on October 19, during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit.
