APA - MP: While 85 percent of Azerbaijan was gasified, only 8 percent of Gedebey region was supplied with natural gas

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. “While 85 percent of Azerbaijan was gasified, only 8 percent of Gedebey region was supplied with natural gas. The gas problem of Gedebey region, which is located on borders with enemy, should be solved. Sharing of subsidies allocated from the state budget for the regions should be approached carefully”, said member of the Azerbaijani parliament Nazim Mammadov during the discussion of draft law on the state budget 2010 in the joint meeting of the parliament committees, APA reports. The parliamentarian said it needed to be careful in oil price setting in the state budget. He said subsidization of privatization of the public facilities should be gradually cancelled because it has no effect.

MP Vahid Ahmadov national currency savings in the banks were reduces by 10 percent as against the last year’s figures, while foreign currency savings increased by 50 percent. “It should be investigated”. The lawmaker proposed to adopt special program for lifting of problems caused by flooding in the rivers. He said some historic villages faced with a threat of removal as a result of floods.

Ahmadov also pointed out to control the social targeted aids as well.
