Office of International Republican Institute in Azerbaijan stops functioning

Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Office of the International Republican Institute (IRI) in Azerbaijan stops functioning.
Press service of Musavat Party told APA that head of the Azerbaijan office of IRI Jake Johns said this at the meeting with the party leader Isa Gambar. Jake Johns said the office will be closed on November 30.
Expressing his regret Isa Gambar said the office should continue functioning for strengthening US-Azerbaijan relations and solving the problems concerning democracy and freedom.
It was noted at the meeting that the discussions and cooperation between Musavat Party and IRI will continue.
