APA - Azerbaijan reduces discount on Baku-Nakhchivan flight fare

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has changed the discount for airfares between Baku and Nakhchivan.

Maharram Safarli, spokesman for Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL), said the price of one-way ticket for Baku-Nakhchivan is AZN 75 effective from November 1, according to the decision of the Government.

"The full price of a one-way ticket is AZN 95. Previously, the government subsidized AZN 55, and the ticket price was AZN 40. Now the government provides AZN 20, and the ticket price is AZN 75,” he added.

According to the decision, the ticket price for children aged under 5 to 12, students and disabled people are AZN 65.
