APA - Businessman killed in Baku

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. A businessman was cruelly killed in Baku. Police office of Sabunchu district of Baku told APA, it was a contract murder.

Police received information about the body of unknown man, found in garbage dumps in Balakhani village of Baku. Operational-investigative group of officers of the Baku City Police Office, Baku City prosecutor’s Office, Sabunchu District police and prosecutor’s offices immediately arrived at site. They identified body as Khanbeyi Zamanov, who carried on business in Baku. He was shot dead with Nagan pistol in his car and then burned.

The grave murder case was disclosed as a result of urgent operational measures. Two suspects – Nemat Shamil Abdullayev, 27 and Samira Avaz Azimova, 26 were detained. They acknowledged that they committed murder by contract. The name of man, ordered Zamanov’s murder, was not announced because of investigation secret.

The law-enforcement bodies launched criminal investigation under several articles of the Criminal Code. The operational-investigative measures are continued.
