U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina S. Kaidanow arrives in Azerbaijan

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva– APA. U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina S. Kaidanow has arrived in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and other officials, as well as with the representatives of civil society and business leaders.
US-Azerbaijan bilateral relations will be discussed during the meetings.
Earlier Tina S. Kaidanow visited Georgia. She will stay in Azerbaijan till October 24. This is the first visit of Tina Kaidanow to Azerbaijan in capacity of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State. She assumed office in August 2009, replacing Matthew Bryza.
