APA - President of Azerbaijan receives World Bank Managing Director

Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation headed by the World Bank Managing Director Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on Wednesday. According to APA, the head of state emphasized the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank.

President Aliyev said he was hopeful that fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank would be developed successfully in future too and expressed confidence that the World Bank Managing Director Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to that.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said she was happy to hear the president’s satisfaction with cooperation with the World Bank and she was proud of partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank.
