APA - Azerbaijan-wanted Russian citizen arrested in Japan

Baku – APA. Russian citizen wanted in Azerbaijan has been arrested in Japan, Interior Ministry’s press service told APA. Wanted Russian citizen Mahmud Aliyev was arrested in Niigata, Japan, as a result of the operation carried out by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Azerbaijan. Measures are being taken for his extradition.

Mahmud Aliyev had been wanted on article 120 (premeditated murder) and 228 (illegally keeping weapons) of Azerbaijan’s Criminal Code.
