Round table “Russian-Azerbaijan: development prospects of bilateral relations” to take place in Moscow

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Series events on Azerbaijan-Russian relations will take place in Moscow, press service of the Strategic Research Center under the President of Azerbaijan told APA. The round table “Russia-Azerbaijan: development prospects of bilateral relations” is scheduled to be held on October 15 within the framework of joint project by the Strategic Research Center (SRC) under the President of Azerbaijan and Russian Strategic Research Institute.
SRC Director Elkhan Nuriyev, Director of the Institute of Sociology and Law of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Ilham Mammadzadeh, Senior Adviser of the Political Analysis and Information Support Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Farhad Mammadov, independent political analyst Rasim Musabeyov will attend the round table. Russian well-known political analysts, experts on international and regional relations are also expected to join them. They will focus on the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries and exchange opinions on the development prospects of relations.
On October 16, the SRC Director will meet with the professors and students of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and deliver speech on “Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities”. The issues of cooperation between the relevant government institutions will also be discussed at the meeting.
The SRC Director will also address the round table at the Russian Carnegie Center and make report entitled “Azerbaijan in the system of international relations”.
Nuriyev will meet with the authorities of leading Russian think tanks and hold wide discussions on the regional strategic projects on the cooperation between the research institutes of the two countries.
