A pack of wolves attacked village in Sabirabad region of Azerbaijan, five injured

Sabirabad. Alibey Zeynalli – APA. A pack of wolves attacked Moranli village of Sabirabad region, the village residents told APA’s Mil-Mughan bureau.
The wolves attacked about 20 individual farms and injured five people on October 8.
Mahir Farman Ismayilov, 25, was taken to Salyan Central Hospital. Mansurova Gular Alipanah, 23, was injured in the hand and Mansurov Beyler Hafiz, 22, in the leg. Ismikhan Shikhaliyev and a shepherd also underwent attack of wolves. They were hospitalized. The wolves injured cattle and killed two dogs.
Spokesman for State Veterinary Service of Agriculture Ministry Yolchu Khanveli told APA’s Mil-Mughan bureau that veterinarians of the region are taking prophylactic measures. The doctors of the health department of the region were sent to the village. The injured people were vaccinated against hydrophobia. The head of one killed wolf was sent to the laboratory in Baku. The wounded animals were vaccinated.
