Baku – APA. Chinese Charge D’affaires in Azerbaijan Nyu Shutsian has today visited APA Office to share his views about the reports on execution of 196 Uighurs in China. The diplomat met with Deputy Director of APA Nurshan Guliyev and noted that reports on mass execution of Uighurs in China spread by Turkish “D” Channel were not true. “We are very concerned about such reports. It’s even impossible from the procedural point of view. Execution process takes much time in Chine. But only 15 days elapse from the ongoing events. Some countries, specially the US want to aggravate the situation in China and they use some forces inside the country”.
The diplomat stated that there were good relations between Azerbaijan and China and expressed his confidence for further development of these ties.
Nurshan Guliyev in return emphasized that the happenings in China were carefully followed in Azerbaijan: “Uighurs and Azerbaijanis are the nations of the same root, that’s why Azerbaijan is vary concerned over the reports about them. ”
