APA - American General discusses security issues in Baku

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Major General Tracy Garrett, Commander, U.S. Marine Forces Europe and Africa met with members of the Azerbaijan Women’s Bar Association in Baku. General Garrett, mother of two sons, said she started her military career at age 18 and took various posts in the army. She is 53 now. She said she met with high-ranking officers in Baku and discussed some issues of mutual interests between the United States and Azerbaijan. “We discussed the issues of security and mutual assistance at the meetings”.

The Major-General said the terrorism is a complicated issue and each nation was struggling against this threat within its opportunities.

Then President of the Azerbaijan Women’s Bar Association Sabina Gahramanova informed the guest about the organization.
