Teimour Radjabov gets €22.500 in Grand Prix

Baku. Kenan Hasanov - APA-Sport. The second stage of Grand Prix chess tournament held in Sochi, Russia, is over.
Levon Aronian became the winner of the competition with 8.5 points. Azerbaijani grandmaster Teimour Radjabov was the 2nd with 8 points after the win over Sergey Karyakin (Ukraine) with blacks in the last round.

The 21-aged earned €22.500 for the performance. Van Jue (China) and Gata Kamsky shared the 3rd and 4th ranks. After the unexpected defeat by Pyort Svidler (Russia) Vugar Hashimov (6.5 points) was ranked 8th. Hashimov got €8.000 award in the competition.
Hashimov, Jue and Magnus Carlsen (Norway) took the top three positions in the first stage of Grand Prix held in April in Baku.
