It was noted that the landslide zone on the slope of Bayil in Baku’s Sabail district activated as a result of atmospheric precipitation in January 2018. Four private houses were completely and 2 houses were partially damaged as a result of the landslide that occurred on February 10, 2018.

The Sabail District Executive Authority established a special headquarters in order to ensure the security of the residents.

Under the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, a lump sum of AZN 700 per square meter will be given to the owners of the four completely collapsed houses and another two houses which are partially collapsed. Moreover, they will receive AZN 1,500 for the damaged household items.
