Nearly 70,000 applicants to attend free entrance exams in Azerbaijan this year

The order signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on additional measures to regulate the organization of entrance examinations to universities and secondary specialized educational institutions of the country will cover about 70,000 young people, Maleyka Abbaszade, chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Center (SEC), told reporters on Tuesday, APA reported.

She noted that the entrance exams to colleges or universities will be financed from the state budget.

“I presume the figure based on the indicators of 2016. The figure may increase or decrease,” Abbaszade added.
