French-Azerbaijani University announces admission of students


The French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) operating under Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ASOIU) has announced student admission for the 2017/18 academic year.

 

This admission was announced for chemical engineering (40 places), geophysical engineering (40), computer sciences (40) and oil and gas engineering (40).

 

This year, 120 received in UFAZ (with best results) are exempt from paying tuition fees. Some 40 places will be offered on a fee basis.

 

Entrants who scored 500 points or more on the entrance exams to the first group can participate in exams organized by University of Strasbourg. The education will be conducted in English and the contest is open for Azerbaijani and Russian sectors. Entrance examinations will be held in the following disciplines in Azerbaijani and Russian languages: physics (tests), chemistry (tests), mathematics (tests) and English (the essay). Entrants who scored 7 or less out of 20 cannot pass the exam. The registration to the university will be conducted by UFAZ commission in accordance with the results of the contest. Those who intend to participate in the contest should register in ufaz.az website.

 

Those, who could not pass UFAZ exams, may participate in contests of other higher education institutions held by State Examination Centre.
