Emin Shekinski: Whereabouts of 68 persons whom Azerbaijan declared wanted through Interpol determined

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The whereabouts of 68 persons declared wanted by Interpol’s National Central Bureau (NCB) and those of 27 persons wanted by this organization’s member countries have been determined.

APA reports that this was stated by General Mayor Emin Shekinski, chief of head crime and search department of the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan, at the board meeting held at Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry.
 
He said that compared to the same period of the past year the number of detained persons has increased by 6%, with 60.2% search result and 34.1% those for grave and especially grave crimes. 
 
A number of works for the search of missing persons have been carried out as well.
 
The whereabouts of 70% of those gone missing during 10 months of the past year were determined. Besides, a criminal case has been launched over one person falling victim to crime.
