PM: Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan demonstrated significance of regional cooperation
Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan demonstrated significance of regional cooperation with implementation of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim at the 22nd World Petroleum Congress (WPC).
The PM noted that the three countries are implementing TANAP within the Southern Gas Corridor: “Launch of TANAP next year will allow Turkey to purchase additional 6 bcm of gas per year. Starting 2020, 10 bcm of gas will be transported to Europe via TANAP. Subsequently, Azerbaijani gas will be transported to Europe via TAP”.
