Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers sign final protocol of Batumi meeting

Georgia. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia held a trilateral meeting in Batumi as a part of “Trabzon Declaration”.

 

APA’s Georgian bureau reports that the ministers discussed regional issues, the development of economic relations between the countries, joint international projects, the issues of energy security, environmental protection, transport and other main issues. Following the meeting, the ministers signed a final protocol and adopted cooperation plan for 2013-2015.

 

“Trabzon Declaration” was adopted on August 8, 2012 with the participation of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers,

 

The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia are expected to hold the next trilateral meeting in the second half of this year.
