Azerbaijan sends humanitarian aid to Djibouti

Under the instruction of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations has sent humanitarian aid to the Republic of Djibouti.

 

An Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft with food products on board took off from the Heydar Aliyev International Airport and headed to Djibouti.

 

Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Faiq Taghizade told APA that the humanitarian aid weighing 76 tons includes 56 tons of food products (sugar, tea, sunflower oil, corn oil, flour, macaroni, vermicelli) and 20 tons of drinking water.
