Presidential election in Azerbaijan held in line with int’l standards: Albanian observer
The presidential election in Azerbaijan was held in line with international standards, Albana Vokshi, an Albanian member of the election monitoring group made up of women from Southeast European countries, said in Baku on April 12, APA reports.
She said that the mission includes 25 women.
"The election was democratic and transparent. The polling stations were well prepared. We did not face any problems with voter lists. Voting took place quietly, without interference. We did not see any problems with the counting of votes, either. All protocols were shown to observers at their request,” she added.
