Azerbaijani businessman, diaspora activist goes missing in Ukraine

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. An Azerbaijani businessman, a diaspora activist, has gone missing in Ukraine’s Kherson Province.

The person that has gone missing is Alakbarov Tabriz Jasur oglu (born in 1986, originally from Azerbaijan’s Masalli district) who had recently moved from Luhansk to Kherson to escape the ongoing conflict in the country’s east in order to resume his diaspora and business activity there, Chairman of the Azerbaijanis Congress in Kherson Province Alimardan Karimov told APA.

 

He was last heard from in Kherson’s Skadovsk district on July 13. Alakbarov told his wife that he was being tracked. And he then disappeared. Police in Kherson Province have begun to search him at the request of his relatives.

 

Note that, two Azerbaijani businessmen were killed in Kherson over the last month.
