Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry orders hundreds of “Zerbe” drones

Baku. Farid Mirzayev – APA. Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has ordered hundreds of local-made “Zerbe” (strike) unmanned aerial vehicles, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry told reporters on Tuesday.

“Negotiations are underway between the ministries of defense and defense industry. The relevant agreement will be signed in the coming days,” said the minister, noting that “Zerbe” drones have become a nightmare for the Armenian army.

Jamalov also touched on Iskander missile complexes showcased in the parade of the Armenian army.

“It was not Iskander-M, but Iskander-E missile complex that was handed over to Armenia. Iskander-M eliminates targets at a range of up to 500 kilometers, but Iskander-E at a range of up to 280 kilometers. The service life of these ballistic missiles had expired,” said the Azerbaijani minister.
