Irakli Garibashvili: “Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will connect Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia in economic sphere”


Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh - APA. “Georgia has a strategic position is and its economy is open for foreign investors”, said the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the 1st International Investment Forum "Georgia - Regional Hub and Asia's Gateway to Europe".

 

“Our country has a good potential. Azerbaijan, Turkey and Armenia are our neighbors. We are implementing different projects with regional and other near countries. Launch of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway in 2015 will connect Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia in the economic sphere. This railway will carry 5 mln tonnes of cargo and 1 mln passengers”.
