Gold price goes up


The U.S. Dow Jones stock index increased by 0.04% to 23,557.23 points, S&P 500 rose by 0.49% to 2,590.64 points and NASDAQ slipped 0.27% to 6,767.78 points.

 

In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went down by 0.65% to 7,513.11 points, Germany’s DAX descended by 0.66% to 13,379.27, French CAC 40 slid by 0.48% to 5,480.64.

 

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold prices ascended by $3.40 to $1,279.20 an ounce and silver price raised $0.09 to $17.03.
