Gabala declared CIS cultural capital for 2013

Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. Gabala (Azerbaijan), Gyumri (Armenia) and Mogilev (Belarus) have been declared cultural capitals of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the year 2013, said counselor of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation (IHCF) Alexander Luchaninov, APA reports.

To him, on June 29, Gabala will host a solemn opening ceremony for interstate program “Cultural Capital of the CIS in 2013”.

 

Chairman of the Foundation's Board Polad Bulbuloglu and a large delegation consisting of the representatives of the CIS countries will take part in the ceremony. Round-tables and panels will be organized within the framework of the event on June 28-30.

 

In connection with the opening ceremony, concerts will be organized in Gabala with the participation of creative groups from the CIS countries.
