Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Concert held in Sydney

Baku – APA. The Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Concert was held in Sydney Feb. 21.

 

The concert was co-organized by the Australian-Turkish Campaign Union, the Azerbaijani Cultural Association of Australia, the Australian-Turkish Mutual Alliance, and the Australian-Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Unity Association on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Australia, the embassy told APA.

 

Soloists of the Azerbaijani State Song and Dance Ensemble, honored artists Sevinj Huseynli and Elnur Suleymanov performed national dances, tar player Shahriyar Imanov played folk music. The "Austolian Dance Academy" performed Turkish dances.

 

Also, performances by musicians living in Australia, Bahram Shokrollahzadeh, pianist Tannaz Rafiie and amateur dancer Kirsty Frances were appreciated by the audience.
